Watching your martial arts students learn and grow is an incredibly rewarding experience. However, not all students learn at the same rate. For instructors who have been mastering their craft for a long time, it can seem like students are not learning at all.

While this can be frustrating for new instructors, it’s important to be patient with these students. Sometimes all they need is a bit of extra assistance.

Consider allowing the students having difficulty to come in a little early or stay late so you can give them some pointers without the rest of the class watching. Your students will appreciate this extra help and you’ll get to watch them progress.
