Many parents enroll their children in martial arts in an effort to get them to release some of their energy before they come home for the evening.
This means there’s a good chance the younger kids in your class will have more energy than you! If your students are under the age of 10, try not to get too frustrated if they seem to be more interested in running around than perfecting their stances. In fact, some moves may not be possible for young children, since they haven’t mastered the ability to tense their muscles yet. Teaching a children’s class is a fun and exciting way to end the day and loosen up before you go home!
